You, Our Business and the COVID-19 Corona Virus Outbreak


Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, we have made some changes to the standard operations of our Open Homes and Appraisals to ensure the well being of all attendees, our clients and our team.

 

Appraisals:

We understand that our clients still have a real estate goal to achieve.  The barrier at the moment is the potential health hazard and market uncertainty.  This is why we have restructured our methodology to minimise the health risks and maximise the effectiveness of our buyer management.  

 

Our sales team is equipped with the technology to conduct Special Remote Home Appraisals.  This means, with your help, we are able to provide an accurate appraisal and present to you without having to meet face to face.  We will also explain in detail how we might be able to match a buyer to your home and facilitate a sale without the need for open inspections and expensive marketing.

 

Open Inspections and Buyers:

For those clients who are still comfortable with holding open inspections, we have taken a number of precautionary safety measures.  The standard COVID-19 questions will be asked as well as limiting numbers to no more than 5 people in the home at any one time. We appreciate your patience during this time.  Our sales people have been asked to record details of all attendees in case we need to contact you. We respect your request not to be marketed to.

 

We have increased the number of private inspections during the week.  We want to make sure this home suits your needs and you are ready to purchase the home before we ask our vendors to make the property available.  We thank you for your cooperation here.

 

Tenants and Landlords:

We are in regular communication with our investors and tenants to work with pressure resulting from potential unemployment or mortgage strain.  We have altered our management procedures in property viewings, routine inspections and maintenance to ensure the wellbeing of all parties involved.

 

Our database of tenants actively looking for property remains strong so we anticipate the need for open inspections to reduce.  Otherwise we have taken the appropriate measures.
